Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an experienced AI Solution Architect / Forward Deployed Engineer to lead enterprise AI transformations using Google Gemini Enterprise and Vertex AI. You will work with business and tech stakeholders to identify high-value Agentic AI use cases and deploy production-grade AI solutions across enterprise environments.

Locations: Sydney. Positions: 1. The role combines architecture, consulting and hands-on engineering, with governance and security as core requirements.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AI Solution Architect / Forward Deployed Engineer to lead enterprise AI transformation initiatives using Google Gemini Enterprise and Vertex AI.

This role combines the responsibilities of an AI Architect, Technical Consultant, and Hands-on Engineer. You will work directly with business and technology stakeholders to identify high-value Agentic AI use cases and deploy production-grade AI solutions across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and shape Agentic AI opportunities across Financial Services, Public Sector, Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Products and Technology sectors.
• Design and implement multi-agent architectures using Google Agent Development Kit (ADK).
• Build enterprise-grade AI applications using Gemini Enterprise and Vertex AI.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines leveraging BigQuery, Vector Search and enterprise knowledge sources.
• Integrate AI agents with SAP, Salesforce, ERP platforms, databases and enterprise APIs.
• Establish governance, security, compliance and observability frameworks for AI agents.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders and internal engineering teams to accelerate AI adoption.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise.
• Advanced Python development skills.
• Experience with Java, Go, or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of RAG, Vector Databases and AI Agent frameworks.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce and custom APIs.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (GKE), CI/CD and cloud-native architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture roles.
• Industry experience in Financial Services, Public Sector, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail or Technology.
• Experience deploying AI solutions at enterprise scale.
