Job summary

Mercor seeks AI Safety Experts for contract work to test and harden AI systems. You will conduct red team activities on conversational AI, document vulnerabilities, and craft actionable findings for clients. This role emphasizes clear risk communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Remote position with international scope, compensation $17-$25 per hour. Ideal candidates bring AI adversarial testing experience and strong communication skills in English and Indonesian.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Indonesian.

• Ability to explain risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Red team conversational AI models and agents. Focus on jailbreaks, prompt injections, misuse cases, and bias exploitation.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Fluent in English and Indonesian.
• Prior red teaming experience in AI adversarial work, cybersecurity, or socio-technical probing.
• Ability to explain risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience in Adversarial ML: jailbreak datasets, prompt injection, RLHF/DPO attacks, model extraction.
• Background in Cybersecurity: penetration testing, exploit development, reverse engineering.
• Knowledge of socio-technical risk: harassment/disinfo probing, abuse analysis, conversational AI testing.
