Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Australia is seeking a senior IT architect to lead enterprise architecture initiatives from Sydney. You will design and govern cloud-native, DevOps-enabled solutions for financial services, ensuring security, scalability and cost efficiency.

With 10+ years in IT architecture or engineering, TOGAF certification, and strong communication skills, you will engage IT and business stakeholders and guide modern architectures across AWS, Azure and integration platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT architecture or engineering roles.
• Experience in AI agent/LLM delivery pipelines across AWS and Azure, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude.
• Experience in mainframe host system integration solutions.
• TOGAF Foundation or equivalent certification in IT Architecture.
• Tertiary qualifications in IT or Computer Science or equivalent certification.
• Expert competency in development of conceptual and applied architectures, including assessment of new technologies on alignment to business and IT strategies.
• Deep experience designing and governing cloud-native solutions and modern DevOps/CI/CD architectures, including serverless API platforms.
• Solid experience working with different application and integration technologies.
• Ensuring solutions are secure, reliable, scalable, observable, cost-efficient, and aligned to enterprise standards.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with IT and business audiences at all levels both verbally and in writing to socialise, solicit opinions and accept feedback.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver convincing presentations that provide significant insight and generate consensus and buy-in.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Prior experience in senior IT architecture or engineering roles leading other colleagues.
• Exposure to financial services business systems and technologies.
• Solid knowledge of IT architecture and design principles.
• Solid knowledge of IT SDLC processes.
• Technology or related qualification.
