Job summary

Auxo Talent is seeking an experienced AI Installation Supervisor/Foreman to support the deployment of high-performance computing (HPC), AI and Data Centre infrastructure.

This hands-on site leadership role manages installation, integration and QA of compute environments, coordinating field teams, subcontractors and vendors to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently and in line with engineering specifications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on rack & stack, structured cabling, servers and network infra.
• Strong power, PDUs, grounding, cooling and BMS knowledge.
• Experience supervising installation teams, vendors and subcontractors.
• Ability to interpret rack elevations, network maps and cabling diagrams.
• Knowledge of data centre commissioning, QA and site safety requirements.
• Strong onsite logistics, scheduling and coordination experience.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and reporting skills.
• NVIDIA/GPU infra, high-density compute or modular DC exp is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and be onsite during installation phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite installation activities across AI, HPC and DC infrastructure deployments.
• Supervise field engineers, installation crews, vendors and subcontractors.
• Review project designs, rack elevations, network diagrams and installation plans.
• Conduct site-readiness assessments covering power, cooling, space, access and floor loading.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, staging, inventory and installation.
• Oversee rack & stack, structured cabling, servers, switches and PDU installation.
• Ensure correct cable management, grounding, bonding, airflow and equipment positioning.
• Validate power, network connectivity, cooling and BMS integration.
• Coordinate initial power-up, commissioning and infrastructure testing.
• Manage onsite safety, access requirements, installation risks and daily activities.
• Maintain installation trackers, QA documentation and issue logs.
• Verify completed installations against designs and standards.
• Produce as-built docs, rack maps, inventories and reports.
• Coordinate final customer walkthroughs and sign-off.

About The Role

We’re supporting a global technology organisation with an experienced AI Installation Supervisor / Foreman requirement supporting the deployment of high-performance computing (HPC), AI and Data Centre infrastructure.

This is a hands-on site leadership role responsible for overseeing the physical installation, integration and quality assurance of complex compute environments. You’ll coordinate field teams, subcontractors, vendors and customer stakeholders to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently and in line with engineering specifications.

The environment includes high-density AI/HPC infrastructure, racks, servers, networking, structured cabling, power, air/liquid cooling and Building Management Systems (BMS).

What You’ll Do

• Lead onsite installation activities across AI, HPC and Data Centre infrastructure deployments

Skills You’ll Ideally Have

• Hands-on knowledge of rack & stack, structured cabling, servers and network infrastructure
• Strong understanding of power, PDUs, grounding, air/liquid cooling and Data Centre BMS
• Experience supervising technical installation teams, vendors and subcontractors
• Ability to interpret rack elevations, network maps, cabling diagrams and technical drawings
• Knowledge of Data Centre commissioning, QA and site health & safety requirements
• Strong onsite logistics, scheduling and coordination experience
• Excellent customer-facing communication and reporting skills
• Experience with NVIDIA/GPU infrastructure, high-density compute or modular Data Centres would be highly regarded
• Willingness to travel and remain onsite during installation phases
