red-gate is seeking a Legal Operations Engineer to transform documented legal processes into automated systems under a five-month fixed-term contract in Cambridge with hybrid working. The role partners with the General Counsel to deploy AI-powered solutions that streamline contract intake, NDA routing, and routine admin tasks, delivering tangible results within a tight timeline.

You will build scalable infrastructure, automate processes with Claude-based workflows, and create comprehensive

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to build and deploy automations quickly without lengthy discovery phases.
Experience constructing AI agentic workflows using large language models for task processing and decision support.
Ability to manage a fixed five-month project with autonomous prioritization of deliverables.
Understanding of in-house legal operations and risk considerations affecting legal departments.
Excellent communication to translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Review Lucidchart diagrams and improvement docs to roadmap automation priorities.
Automate contract intake and NDA routing workflows across the organization.
Architect and deploy AI-powered workflows using Claude for legal requests.
Replace stopgap Microsoft Forms with scalable automated infrastructure.
Configure contract lifecycle management, DocuSign, and SharePoint tools.
Document all automations and provide knowledge transfer guidance to staff.
