Job summary

Open Point is hiring two Intermediate Full Stack Engineers to join our team in Melbourne, Australia. You will work with a cross-functional team to deliver scalable, secure, high-quality product features using AI-driven development practices.

You will participate in architectural discussions, shape technical direction, and elevate engineering standards across the team while collaborating with engineering leaders to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Solid experience with AI-assisted development tools (OpenAI, Claude, or similar).
• Strong experience with .NET (C#), TypeScript and modern web app development.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Experience delivering well-defined feature-sized work and estimating tasks.
• Proficient in Git-based version control and code reviews.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Use AI engineering practices to design, develop, test and deploy scalable web features end-to-end.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decisions.
• Collaborate on code reviews with AI tools and uphold engineering standards.
• Deliver predictable work with clear milestones and trade-offs.
• Improve AI usage, engineering quality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
• Support critical events including triage and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality product outcomes.
