Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking an exceptional Lecturer (Education Focused) in Business Analytics to design and lead a new flagship postgraduate program. You will shape curriculum, digital learning resources, and project-based units that prepare future professionals for an AI-enabled world.

Working within the School of Business Analytics and Marketing, you will collaborate with academics and industry partners to ensure industry relevance and high-quality teaching.

Qualifications

• PhD (or near completion) in statistics, computer science, operations research or closely related discipline with expertise in AI/ML/data science.
• Strong ability to apply AI/ML methods to real business problems and communicate vision to stakeholders.
• Strong programming skills in Python and R; experience with ML frameworks and data tooling.
• Ability to design and deliver curriculum and learning experiences in tertiary education.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a flagship postgraduate program in Business Analytics and Marketing.
• Create engaging curriculum, digital learning experiences, and teaching resources.
• Collaborate with academics, industry partners, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality learning outcomes.
• Lead project-based curriculum development and implementation initiatives.
