PepsiCo is seeking an Agronomy Officer to drive the ANZ sustainability agenda and support the Pep+ program across ANZ. The role focuses on strategic agronomy initiatives, grower capability, and collaboration with research teams to turn strategy into action.

You will work with agronomy managers and external partners to deliver sustainability plans, monitor progress, and report performance to global stakeholders from our Brisbane, Adelaide, or North Sydney offices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Agricultural Science; Postgraduate qualifications or an MBA are advantageous.
• 5+ years' experience in agricultural supply chain, agronomy or research and development.
• Experience managing agricultural sustainability programs.
• Strong knowledge of agronomy, sustainability and agricultural research and extension.
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead people, influence outcomes and build strong partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ANZ sustainability program, delivering initiatives across sustainable sourcing, regenerative agriculture, water efficiency, biodiversity, and soil health.
• Support the delivery of strategic agronomy initiatives that strengthen grower capability, supply resilience, productivity, and long-term business performance
• Partner with agronomy managers, growers, and research teams to develop and implement sustainability plans and best practices.
• Manage external consultants and vendor assurance programs to achieve key sustainability and quality outcomes.
• Oversee the implementation of global quality and assurance programs across the agronomy function.
• Monitor, report, and communicate sustainability performance across Business Unit, Sector, and Global stakeholders.
