Job summary

CSIRO's Cotton Breeding Group at Myall Vale, Narrabri, NSW, invites applicants for a 14‑month, full‑time role to support field and greenhouse operations and cotton trials. Qualifications

• An interest in agriculture and practical outdoor work in a research environment.
• Ability to lift, bend, walk and perform manual handling safely.
• Willingness to travel to remote sites and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the Certificate III in Agriculture with six 1‑week intensive schools.
• Assist with establishment and maintenance of field experiments.
• Support sowing, harvesting and sample processing for cotton trials.
