Job summary

AWS Professional Services in Melbourne is seeking a Delivery Consultant specializing in Agentic AI Full Stack Development to architect and deliver cloud-native GenAI solutions for clients. You will lead end-to-end development across frontend and backend, guided by security and operational excellence.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, containerized architectures, and collaboration with customer teams to design scalable solutions on AWS, with modern DevOps practices and leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience on AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
• 5+ years of hands-on development with modern programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java, Kotlin, .NET).
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of the software development workflow.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform), CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure.
• Understanding of AI agent architectures, orchestration patterns, and emerging protocols (e.g., MCP, A2A) with hands-on experience building multi-agent systems and applications that integrate generative AI/LLM capabilities.
• Experience with agentic software development methodologies — using AI agents to accelerate development workflows including coding, testing, debugging, and code review.
• Understanding of API design and implementation (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and identity protocols (OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0).
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Amazon ECS, Kubernetes), distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices patterns at scale.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring practices (e.g., OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Datadog) with a focus on operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development — Design, build, and ship cloud-native applications end-to-end. Develop responsive frontend interfaces and scalable backend services on AWS.
• AI‑Assisted Software Development — Use AI-powered tools to accelerate coding, testing, review, and delivery.
• Agentic Development — Design AI agent architectures and multi-agent systems with emerging protocols and orchestration frameworks.
• Solution Delivery — Architect solutions with customers, deliver working software, and modernise existing applications.
• Technical Leadership — Mentor teams, conduct code reviews, and ensure security and operational excellence.
