Job summary

Newly by HealthcareLink Support in Caloundra, QLD seeks Personal Care Assistants for contractor shifts. You will provide personal care, social support, and mobility assistance to older Australians and individuals with disabilities, aligned with care plans and safety standards.

Applicants should hold Cert III or IV in Aged Care, have a valid police check or NDIS screening, First Aid/CPR, a current driver’s license and car insurance, an ABN, and be fully vaccinated (2+ doses) against Covid-19.

Qualifications

• Provide personal care and social support to clients.
• Must have at least one relevant qualification in Personal Care/Support (Cert III/IV).
• Must have valid police check or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• ABN is required.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• 2+ doses of Covid-19 vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients.
• Deliver social support and companionship.
• Assist with daily living activities as per care plan.
• Assist clients with mobility and orientation tasks.
