Job summary

For Care in Queensland seeks Aged Care Support Workers to join our team. We value people who genuinely want to make a difference in their community and provide person-centred care that promotes independence and wellbeing.

Casual and permanent roles are available with immediate start for the right candidates. You will support daily living, respect client dignity, assist with community access, and provide companionship.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support or related qualification (or currently studying).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) — or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity and choice.
• Support with daily living, community access and participation in everyday activities.
• Provide companionship and social support.
