Job summary

Southern Cross Care Queensland seeks a committed Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration to join our team in the Western Downs region. You will deliver advanced clinical and holistic care to residents, supported by experienced Clinical Leaders, while mentoring team members and coordinating with medical practitioners and families.

Qualifications

• RN with a current AHPRA registration.
• Strong clinical focus delivering holistic support.
• Knowledge of chronic conditions, palliative and dementia care (desired).
• Available to work all shifts.
• Dedicated to caring for older people.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced clinical and holistic care to residents.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to team members, fostering teamwork.
• Liaise with medical practitioners, families and the multi-disciplinary team to ensure personalised care.
• Demonstrate compassion and empathy while upholding residents’ dignity and respect.
