Job summary

Meracare is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our aged care homes in Victoria, including Wangaratta, Carrum Downs and Frankston. Casual and Permanent Part-Time opportunities are available across morning, afternoon and night shifts.

As a valued member of our clinical team, you will deliver person-centred care, participate in assessments and care planning, and work closely with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to support dignity,

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (RN/EEN).
• Passion for aged care and improving residents' quality of life.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, residents' rights and contemporary aged care practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in aged care desirable (≥1 year).
• Available for AM, PM and night shifts; roster and leave coverage flexibility.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care in line with professional standards, policies and procedures.
• Conduct resident assessments and contribute to care planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Monitor residents' health and escalate concerns when needed.
• Collaborate with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive care outcomes.
• Manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
• Support residents' rights, dignity, choice and independence as per policy.
