Job summary

St George Hospital, part of NSW Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Aged Care service on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. The role delivers high-quality nursing care, coordinates patient care and upholds NSW Health CORE values.

Remuneration ranges from $41.23 to $57.88 per hour plus superannuation, with up to 38 hours per week. SESLHD supports professional growth and staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages and concerns.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional boundaries.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use health information systems.
• Knowledge of risk management, safety and quality principles in nursing.
• Demonstrated aged care experience in an acute care setting.
