Job summary

Healthcarelink Support is recruiting an Aged Care Podiatrist to provide comprehensive foot care across residential facilities in Goonellabah, NSW. The role offers a permanent path with full- or part-time options and a salary of AUD 160,000–180,000 plus super.

You will assess, diagnose, treat, and educate residents, collaborating with nursing and allied health teams to enhance mobility, comfort, and independence for elderly residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Podiatry.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle (preferred).
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine podiatry assessments for aged care residents.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage foot and lower limb conditions.
• Provide ongoing podiatric care for corns, calluses, fungal infections, and toenails.
• Develop preventative care to reduce falls and foot complications.
• Recommend footwear and orthotic solutions.
• Educate residents and care staff on foot health practices.
• Deliver foot exercises and mobility support recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create care plans.
• Support wound care management and advise on assistive devices.
