Job summary

Bolton Clarke Residential Aged Care Opportunities – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Maintenance Officer to keep properties in top condition. You will perform general maintenance, liaise with residents to understand needs, and coordinate with external contractors to deliver specialised services, while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have basic maintenance experience, a Certificate III in Engineering/Parks and Gardening preferred, and a solid grasp of safety

Qualifications

Certificate III in Engineering/Parks and Gardening preferred.
Experience in maintenance and handyman tasks preferred.
Strong knowledge of workplace safety and health principles.
Ability to communicate with customers and liaise with contractors.
Familiarity with Australian standards and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance tasks such as painting, plaster patching, window and door repairs, and basic handyman work.
Communicates with customers to ensure services meet expectations and addresses issues affecting well-being.
Coordinates with external vendors and contractors for specialised repairs and services.
Ensures safety by following Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures.
