Job summary

Warrigal Care in Warrawong, NSW, seeks a dedicated gardener to maintain gardens and assets across our aged care sites. You will work from our Warrawong location using your horticultural skills to keep gardens pristine and resident-friendly.

You should have a Horticulture Certificate III or 5+ years of horticulture experience, strong customer service, and good computer skills. A NSW driver’s license is required to support maintenance rounds.

Qualifications

• Horticulture Certificate III or minimum five years’ experience in the field.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service for older people.
• Positive, professional attitude aligned with Warrigal’s values.
• Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and complete asset maintenance programs.
• Sound computer knowledge to operate a computer regularly.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Current NSW driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ground, garden and building asset maintenance activities for Warrigal assets.
• Utilise horticultural skills to maintain gardens for residents’ pride.
• Collaborate with team to support upkeep, operations and improvements.
