Job summary

Churches of Christ Queensland is seeking an Environmental Service Worker for our 98-bed Mitchelton Moonah Park Aged Care service. The role combines laundry, cleaning and kitchen assistant duties, including food preparation and service, and dining room setup.

You will contribute to a clean, safe environment and support residents with compassionate, quality care in a not-for-profit organisation with a long history of community service.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial food preparation, food service, cleaning or laundry.
• Knowledge of safe food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Australian work rights required; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Perform laundry, cleaning and kitchen assistance duties.
• Assist with food preparation and food service.
• Set up dining room for meals and maintain dining areas.
• Maintain a clean environment inside and outside the kitchen.
