Job summary

You will handle stock rotation, assist with ordering, and maintain high hygiene; deliver friendly service to residents and families, and report to the Chef Manager.

Qualifications

• Current National Police Check is required.
• Experience in a similar role within Aged Care is essential.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take initiative.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work as part of a team with the cook.
• Maintain excellent hygiene and knowledge of Food Safety Standards.
• Valid National Police Check and pre-employment medical assessment required.
• Must work in a smoke-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents with attention to presentation.
• Assist the Cook with ordering and rotating food stocks.
• Serve morning and afternoon teas and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and their families.
• Report directly to the Chef Manager and work as part of a proactive team.
