Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited in Croydon, NSW, is seeking a dedicated member of our catering team for a permanent part-time role (Sun-Thu) at our aged care facility. You will prepare fresh meals aligned with residents' dietary needs and supervise a team of catering assistants to ensure high service standards.

You'll manage kitchen resources within approved budgets, uphold HACCP and food safety practices, and maintain a hygienic kitchen that meets Aged Care quality standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is required.
• Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate is required.
• Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh and nutritious meals for residents in line with their dietary needs.
• Managing all resources within the kitchen including equipment and food supplies within your approved budget.
• Maintaining a hygienically clean kitchen that is fully compliant with the Aged Care quality standards.
