Job summary

Hardi Aged Care in Blacktown is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant / Kitchen Hand to support our chef and care for residents in a busy kitchen. This role involves meal prep, serving, and maintaining hygiene standards in a friendly, team-focused environment.

We value reliability, teamwork and a positive attitude. Prior hospitality or aged care catering is welcome but not essential. Applicants must have 3-dose vaccinations and be willing to obtain an NDIS Check.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or aged care catering is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to obtain an NDIS Check.
• Current COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses).

Responsibilities

• Basic food preparation.
• Serving meals and snacks to residents.
• Assisting with kitchen stock and deliveries.
• Meal trolley service.
• Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Dishwashing and general kitchen clean-up duties.
