Responsibilities:

  • Champion excellence across all four residential aged care facilities.

  • Ensure teams are confident and prepared for the future of aged care.
  • Conduct comprehensive internal audits and drive effective, measurable quality improvements.
  • Represent the organization at key meetings including Board, Clinical, Food Focus, and others.

Qualifications:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

  • Expert‑level knowledge of Strengthened Aged Care Standards and aged care governance.

Virtual General Practitioner (VR GPs)

Location: Victoria, South Australia, Australian Capital Territory

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate VR GPs to join various Aged Care facilities. They will deliver a unique blend of telehealth and face‑to‑face consultations, focusing on monitoring and assessment of elderly patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual consultations using Microsoft Teams for residents in aged care facilities.
  • Travel to the aged care facility approximately once a month for on‑site assessments and care.
  • Verify Teams links, access and review NH’s IT systems, and examine previous consultation notes.
  • Address pending results, carry out consultations, complete required paperwork, and collaborate with nursing staff.
  • Ensure all paperwork is accurately completed, signed and sent to the nursing staff.

Salary/Benefits:

  • Contracts: $180-$275+GST per hour for VR GPs on a casual contract position – hourly rate depending on location.
