Job summary

SummitCare is seeking dedicated Assistant Nurses with aged care experience to join our team at Canley Vale, Sydney. Roles are available on a full-time, part-time and casual basis, with day and night shifts required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III / IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
• Current Criminal Record Check.
• Proven experience working in Aged Care.
• Highly developed customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the Manager Care and Wellbeing and to the Registered Nurse for the resident care areas within the centre.
• Ensure the day-to-day individual care needs of the residents are met and maintained, under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and ongoing education programs to ensure that all aspects of resident care encompass the mission, vision and operating principles of the organisation.

Education
