InterELECTRICAL – Sydney Western Suburbs NSW is hiring an Afternoon Shift Electrician to perform preventive and reactive maintenance at customer facilities. The role focuses on keeping electrical and control systems safe and reliable, with responsibilities for inspections, fault response, and timely repairs.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm, with opportunities to lead small onsite teams. NSW Electrical Licence is essential, and the position offers a competitive hourly rate,

Qualifications

• Current NSW Electrical Licence required.
• Experience in preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Experience servicing proximity sensors, control stations, emergency stop devices.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving.
• Able to work Monday to Friday 3:00pm–11:00pm.
• Face-to-face interview requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems during the afternoon shift.
• Respond to electrical faults and breakdowns, diagnose the cause and carry out repairs.
• Service and troubleshoot proximity sensors, control stations, emergency stop buttons and lanyards.
• Inspect and test equipment, identify potential issues and recommend follow-up work.
• Document maintenance activities, faults, repairs and replacement parts.
• Work with team members to complete tasks safely and on time.
• Follow site safety procedures and applicable regulations.
