Job summary

Chandler Macleod is recruiting Freight Handlers / Dockhands for North Geelong to support peak periods. The role involves loading and unloading freight in a fast-paced dock environment, with continuous manual handling and safety awareness.

Previous freight or warehouse experience is preferred, and a forklift licence is desirable but not essential. This is an immediate-start, PM shift role (2:00pm – 6:00pm) with ongoing peak-season work.

Freight Handler / Dockhand - North Geelong Immediate Start Available - Peak Period Support

Chandler Macleod is seeking reliable and hardworking Freight Handlers / Dockhands to join our client's team in North Geelong to assist with upcoming peak periods.

This is a hands-on role working in a fast-paced freight environment, assisting with the loading and unloading of freight, manual handling tasks, and general dock operations.

Shift Details

• Monday to Friday
• PM Shift: 2:00pm - 6:00pm
• Immediate commencement available

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading freight
• Sorting and moving freight and parcels
• Manual handling and lifting duties
• General warehouse and dock operations
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Previous freight handling, warehouse or labouring experience preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding workStrong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable transport and strong attendance record
• Forklift (LF) Licence desirable but not essential
