Job summary

Blenners Transport in Brisbane is seeking an Afternoon Shift Forklift Operator to join our Darra depot. You will unload and load freight for inbound and outbound trucks using a forklift, with a focus on cold storage environments.

The role requires 2 years’ experience in cold stores operation, a current LF Forklift licence, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting. Monday to Friday, 2pm–10pm, full-time with an immediate start and competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in cold stores operation – chillers / freezers and transport.
• A current LF Forklift licence
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work autonomously highly desired.
• Must be flexible on varying finish times of roster.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain forklifts, including daily checks and secure storage.
• Load, unload, and store freight efficiently, following HACCP, AQIS, and import standards.
• Perform temperature checks and record data for all consignments before acceptance.
• Complete accurate documentation and assist with stock takes and cycle counts.
• Keep the depot clean, safe, and organized at all times.
