Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking an OSHC Educator in the Atwell area to support before and after school care for primary-aged children. This role offers 10 hours per week across after school shifts during term time, with extra hours available in school holidays, and no formal qualification required.

You will build strong relationships with children, families and your team, participate in engaging activities, and may assist across nearby services.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for working with children.
• A team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
• State working-with-children check.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
• A formal qualification is not required for this role. However, candidates who hold or are working towards a relevant ACECQA-recognised qualification will be highly regarded, including WA First Qualified Educator or WA Qualified Educator

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engaging before and after school care programs for primary school-aged children.
• Build meaningful, ongoing relationships with children, families, your team, and the wider school community.
• Work 10 hours per week across after school care shifts during term time; extra hours available during holidays.
• Occasionally support nearby services across the region when needed.
