Job summary

Complete Staff Solutions is seeking Outside School Hours Care Educators to join our Penrith team. Casual shifts available Monday to Friday, with $36.01 p/h plus super.

You will supervise after-school activities for primary school children, supporting safe, engaging play and light snacks. Ideal candidates have experience in before/after school care, knowledge of child protection, strong communication, and a paid Working With Children Check.

Qualifications

• Experience in Before & After School Care or Childcare
• Sound knowledge of child protection practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A positive, team-focused attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Understanding of children's developmental needs
• Current Paid Working With Children Check
• Food Handling Certificate
• National Police Check
• Geccko Child Safety Training
• Two work related references (ready to be contacted)

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities that inspire creativity, teamwork, and confidence
• Facilitate arts and crafts, sports, and group games
• Prepare and serve light snacks
• Maintain a strong focus on child safety and wellbeing - Active supervision, identifying and responding to hazards and safeguarding
