Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Configuration and Data Management Specialist to support the Salisbury, SA operations. You will manage product definition, design data baselines, and engineering changes while ensuring data integrity and compliance.

This role requires coordination with project teams, participation in design reviews, and ensuring data management practices meet security and IP requirements. A background in defence or engineering is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Configuration and/or Data Management.
• Formal Configuration Management training/certification (advantageous).
• Experience using a Product Lifecycle Management system or electronic document management system.
• Previous experience in defence or engineering highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the program's product definition and design data, baselines, engineering changes and approved configuration.
• Coordinate Configuration Control Boards and ensure engineering changes are managed in a controlled manner.
• Prepare and participate in product technical design reviews and audits as required.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of configuration and data management plans, processes, systems and tools.
• Maintain controls for data to meet security, trade control and IP requirements.
• Conduct data audit checks to ensure proper principles and records management practices.
