Job summary

GE Aerospace is offering an Apprentice position to pursue a Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification through hands-on training in either the Avionics Workshop or the Propeller Workshop, in Brisbane. The role supports customers by learning best practice repair/overhaul methods, completing practical maintenance tasks, and developing technical capability via structured training.

Apprentices will split time between on-the-job and classroom training, building capability in avionics or propeller

Qualifications

• Completed or currently completing an aerospace-related Certificate II or III.
• Legal working rights and availability to commence in Brisbane in January 2027.
• Demonstrated commitment to learning with strong communication and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Learn to inspect, repair and overhaul avionics and electromechanical components.
• Learn to inspect, repair and overhaul propeller systems and components.
• Undertake training on and off the job and maintain technical records and reports.
• Follow safety, quality, and EH&S policies and collaborate with the team.
