Job summary

Riverside Primary in Tasmania is recruiting a registered teacher to implement and manage learning programs and assess student progress. The role supports educational leadership and administration for a school sector, reporting to the Principal.

The position is permanent, full-time, 70 hours per fortnight, and a child-safe organisation. Essential qualifications include Tasmanian registration to work with vulnerable people, full teaching registration, and relevant award-based qualifications;

Qualifications

• Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment)
• A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
• Qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, 2005.
• Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service Award 2005.

Responsibilities

• To implement and manage appropriate learning programs for students and to assess individual student progress.
• To assist the Principal in the general educational leadership, management and administration of a particular sector of a school or college.
