Job summary

Metro North Health is seeking an Advanced Scope Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacy operations, coordinate dispensary workflow and manage medication supplies in a clinical environment.

You will work closely with pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams, perform administrative tasks, collect medication and clinical information for review, educate patients on medications, and help drive patient safety and service efficiency.

Qualifications

• Provide general administrative support to contribute to the efficient operation of the Pharmacy including reconciliation of patient copayments, archiving and prescription pads.
• Undertake clinical support activities including collection of patient medication and clinical information for review by a pharmacist.
• Education to patients on the use of a defined range of medications under pharmacist supervision.
