Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or in the process of obtaining a Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Must have work authorization in country of employment at hire
• Experience with hands-on design, bring-up, and iteration of real robotic hardware systems using a first-principles approach
• Experience across domains such as electromagnetic simulation, actuator design, hardware prototyping, tactile sensing, motor control, and autonomy
• Experience with Python, C++, C, MATLAB or related language

Responsibilities

• Design, build, bring up and test advanced robotic systems (hardware and software) from scratch
• Advance rapid prototyping of new concepts and provide solutions in robotics hardware development
• Support characterization and validation for maturation of critical components for Meta’s robotics product development
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and cross-functional partners on full-stack system development
