Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems (Pedestrian) in New South Wales is seeking a Production Operator to join our hands-on manufacturing team. You will support fabrication, assembly, testing, commissioning, warehousing, and logistics, ensuring products are produced and dispatched safely and to the highest quality.

Based in Wetherill Park, the role requires practical experience across product lines, tooling, fault-finding, and documentation, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, warehousing or related operations.
• Demonstrated technical capability across products, processes, or areas.
• Experience in troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, or repair activities.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, testing, commissioning and repair activities.
• Manufacture, modify, troubleshoot, and test products across lines.
• Operate tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Support production schedules and on-time customer delivery.
• Assist with inventory control and stock movements.
• Complete transactions and maintain records with company systems.
• Share knowledge and collaborate to improve safety and quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
