Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver acute and episodic care in a collaborative urgent care setting. You will evaluate, treat, and manage patient care, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with specialists as needed.

The role emphasizes documentation, patient education, and adherence to reimbursement guidelines while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree required.
• Ability to perform medical evaluations and treatment in urgent care settings.
• Strong documentation and patient communication skills.
• Knowledge of confidentiality and HIPAA-like guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical evaluation, treatment and consultation to urgent care patients.
• Respond to emergencies and advise on medical questions.

• Order refills, meds, tests, and referrals as appropriate.

Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider

Reports To: Provider Lead

FLSA Status: Exempt

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provides medical evaluation, treatment and consultation services to patients.*
• Responds to emergencies and answers medical questions.*
• Obtains and documents appropriate chief complaints, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examination, medications and allergies, assessment, and plan for each patient.*
• Provides medical orders for prescription refills, administration of medications, ancillary testing, and/or referrals.*
• Performs routine medical procedures that may include suturing/laceration repair, splinting, foreign object removal, etc.*
• Provide referrals to medical specialists.*
• Reviews ancillary test results and coordinates notification to patients.*
• Provides patient education as needed.*
• Maintains availability to patients personally or through clinical staff to answer questions and relay information regarding their care.*
• Completes appropriate paperwork to comply with insurance and reimbursement guidelines.*
• Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.*
• Manages personal clinical inbox.*
• Attends provider meetings as requested.*
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.*

Education and Experience:

Successful completion of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program.

Certificates and Licenses:

• State of Colorado Medical License
• DEA certificate
• BLS/CPR certificate
• ACLS/PALS certification
• DOT Medical Examiners Certification
• State of Colorado Level I Work Comp Accreditation
