Western Power is seeking an Advanced Plant Operator for a permanent role in Forrestdale. The job involves supporting Field Crews across the transmission network, driving to various sites and occasionally working away from home.

The role requires licences including WA C class, HR/HC, and a high-risk crane endorsement, with safety and reliability at the core. We value flexibility with work arrangements and offer a range of employee perks, wellness leave, and opportunities within a company

Qualificações

• WA driver licences required (C class, HR/HC subject to business requirements)
• High Risk licence class Crane (C2-C6) and other operating licences (Forklift, EWP)
• Construction industry white card and Basic Emergency Life Support within first month

Responsabilidades

• Provide multi-skilled non-trade support in an electrical team within the Substation Construction and Maintenance of the transmission network.
• Drive to support Field Crews across the Transmission network; occasional away-from-home and lone-working duties.

Advanced Plant Operator – Permanent - Forrestdale

Your Role in Action

To provide ‘multi-skilled’ non-trade support in an electrical team environment in the Substation Construction and Maintenance of the transmission electricity network in a safe, reliable and efficient manner to maintain the integrity of the network.

The role will involve large amounts of driving supporting the Field Crews across the Transmission network which will include times of working away from home and lone working.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Valid WA 'C' Class Drivers Licence (subject to business requirements)
• Valid WA 'HR' / 'HC' Licence (subject to business requirements)
• High Risk licence class Crane (C2 - C6), Forklift, EWP, Dogging or Basic Rigging (subject to business requirements)
• Relevant Network Authorisation including Construction industry white card and Basic Emergency Life Support (within the first month of employment)
• Prior experience in providing non trade support in an operational team environment
• Demonstrate Western Power's constructive behaviours and values.
