Darling Downs Health invites applications for an Advanced Pharmacist – Clinical Trials in Toowoomba. You will lead management of investigational medicines, ensure practice standards, and support innovative trials across the region.

You will provide expert medication governance guidance, collaborate with investigators and teams, and build systems to enable current and future research growth while advancing patient care.

• Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA is required.

As an Advanced Pharmacist – Clinical Trials, you'll help bring research into practice by ensuring clinical trial medicines are managed safely, efficiently and in line with best practice standards. From supporting groundbreaking studies to guiding teams through complex medication requirements, you'll play an important role in advancing healthcare and improving outcomes for our communities. Every day, you'll contribute by:

• Leading the management of clinical trial medicines to support safe, high-quality research across the health service.
• Providing expert advice on medication governance, risk management and regulatory requirements to strengthen research delivery.
• Partnering with investigators, coordinators and multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful trial outcomes.
• Building sustainable systems, processes and capability to support current and future research growth.

• Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA and a recognised tertiary qualification in Pharmacy.

• The ability to lead initiatives, improve processes and support capability development across teams.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience establishing new services or research programs and/or additional training or postgraduate study relevant to clinical research or pharmacy practice.
