Job summary

Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide is offering an Advanced Trainee Medical Oncology Fellowship. This full-time role provides a comprehensive training pathway in cancer care, with opportunities to engage in clinical trials and be mentored by leading oncologists.

The fellowship includes structured rotations, research opportunities, and exposure to the latest cancer treatment modalities. Applications are invited from MBBS graduates eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in communication with colleagues and patients.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate clinical training and develop strong research skills into clinical practice.
• Support clinical improvement activities to achieve safe, evidence-based best practice.
• Participate in multidisciplinary cancer care in collaboration with other units within cancer services.
• Investigate and address patient complaints in a positive, constructive manner.
• Participate in relevant standing or ad hoc committees associated with the provision of clinical services.
