Job summary

Baralaba Multipurpose Health Service, part of Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service, is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to provide safe, evidence-based care in a rural setting. You will work with RNs, patients and families, developing care plans and contributing to outcomes.

You will adhere to policies, manage risks, support professional development, and participate in quality improvement. A current AHPRA registration and a commitment to high-quality, person-centred care are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently registered Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA and current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Experience in aged care or rural nursing is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and collaboration with team members and patients.

Responsibilities

• Lead with confidence to provide safe, evidence-based care and develop care plans.
• Mentor and support RNs, patients, families and the broader healthcare team.
• Follow best-practice policies, identify risks, and contribute to quality improvement.
• Promote education, research and evidence-based team decisions.
