About Us

Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.Our people enable the Courts Group to deliver on each jurisdiction's own strategic priorities while also pursuing strategic opportunities that are interconnected and deliver benefits more broadly.The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. About the Role

Join Melbourne Magistrates' Court and play a vital role supporting the administration of one of Victoria's busiest courts.This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused professional to contribute to the delivery of essential court services. As an Administrative Officer, you will provide a range of administrative and customer service support across key functions, including subpoena processing, audio recording requests, family violence list preparation, accounts administration and file management.Working within a collaborative team environment, you will help ensure court operations run efficiently while handling sensitive information with professionalism, discretion and care. Team members are trained across all areas to support workflow management and respond to changing operational demands.This is an excellent opportunity to build valuable skills in administration, computer systems, time management and attention to detail within a dynamic court environment. Through regular rotation across different functions, team members gain broad experience while contributing to the efficient delivery of court services.

About You

This is an entry-level position and previous administration experience is desirable. Most importantly, you will bring a willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
