Job summary

BlueCare in Innisfail is seeking an Administration / Scheduling Officer to support neighbourhood teams and ensure efficient operations. You will be the first point of contact for customers and help coordinate rostering, appointments and documentation.

This permanent full-time role offers $33.22 per hour plus super, not-for-profit salary packaging and staff discounts. Strong MS Office and database skills, plus excellent communication, time management and a can-do attitude are essential.

Qualifications

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in rostering/scheduling - Highly regarded.
  • Good time-management and ability to prioritise your workload.
  • Good knowledge and experience with MS Office and database applications.
  • Confidence with smartphones and digital devices or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and coordinating different teams within each neighbourhood.
  • Be the first point of contact for internal and external customers - via phone, email and in person.
  • Manage requests, concerns and inquiries.
  • Rostering and scheduling support for the neighbourhood.
  • Creation of correspondence and documentation as requested.
  • Efficiently organise appointments, diaries, travel and meeting/workshop preparatory arrangements.
  • Monitor, order and distribute office supplies and arrange for the maintenance/repair of office equipment.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of information in financial, human resource and other BlueCare systems and databases.
  • Use mainstream software including the Microsoft Office Suite and database applications (Intermediate - Advanced skills required).
  • Assist senior staff with special projects as required.

Our Neighbourhood Administration / Scheduling Officer is a key support role to the delivery of our Community Care based services. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring business operations are running efficiently and our clients receive an exceptional experience.
