Job summary

Acumen Health, part of the APM Group, is seeking an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant to support personnel with physical or psychological injuries. You will apply clinical reasoning in a multidisciplinary team at Holsworthy Barracks, delivering meaningful rehab outcomes.

Set 7:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with no overtime. You’ll work across stakeholders and use validated tools to develop and monitor rehabilitation plans, contributing to safer, healthier military personnel.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or AASW).
• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work.
• Australian Citizenship.
• Minimum of one year clinical work experience, registered in your chosen profession.
• Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal.
• Occupational rehabilitation experience will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Take a holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support rehab to healing.
• Perform assessments including functional capacity, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments.
• Collaborate with employees, medical specialists, treatment providers and allied health professionals.
• Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans.
