Job summary

Merrell is hiring seasonal casual sales assistants to join our Timberland & Merrell team during the holiday period. If you love the outdoors and enjoy helping customers find the right gear, this is your role.

You will deliver excellent service, support store operations and share enthusiasm for comfort, performance and style. As part of the Merrell family, you’ll help customers step out with confidence, work in a fast-paced retail environment, and contribute to visual merchandising and stock

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Full availability from mid-November 2026 to mid-February 2027, including weekends and holidays.
• Genuine interest in outdoor activities and performance footwear.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, energetic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver memorable customer experiences by understanding needs and recommending footwear and apparel.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Assist with stock processing, replenishment and visual merchandising.
• Accurately pick, pack and dispatch online orders.
• Maintain store presentation to Merrell's high standards.

We’re seeking passionate Casual Sales Assistants to join our Timberland & Merrell team for our Holiday period! If you love the outdoors, thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, and enjoy helping people find the perfect gear for their next adventure, this is the role for you.

As part of the Merrell family, you’ll deliver exceptional customer service, support store operations, and share your enthusiasm for comfort, performance, and style. Whether it’s hitting the trails or exploring the city, you’ll help every customer step out with confidence.

As a Sales Assistant, You’ll

• Deliver a memorable customer experience by understanding individual needs and recommending the right footwear and apparel
• Collaborate with your team to achieve sales goals and KPIs
• Assist with stock processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising
• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch online orders
• Maintain store presentation and cleanliness to Merrell’s high standards
• Bring energy, positivity, and a love for adventure to every shift

Skills and Experience

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
• Full availability from Mid-November 2026 to Mid-February 2027 – specifically weekends, late nights, Boxing Day, New Years Eve & New Years Day.
• Shows genuine interest in outdoor activities, adventure, and performance footwear
• Thrives in a collaborative, energetic team environment
• Is self-motivated and eager to meet and exceed sales targets
• Is adaptable, reliable, and open to learning and feedback
