Teachers Health is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant and Receptionist for our Adelaide Health Centre. Join a patient‑focused team in a modern, well‑equipped practice with a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule and occasional Saturday hours.

Your role combines chair‑side dental support with reception duties, contributing to a smooth patient journey from arrival to departure. We value reliability, flexibility and excellent communication to deliver outstanding care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a dental assistant and/or dental receptionist preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a strong focus on patient care.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist during procedures, including chair-side support and sterilisation of instruments.
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and instruments.
• Managing patient appointments, bookings and recalls.
• Welcoming patients and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.
• Handling patient enquiries and coordinating patient care.
• Maintaining patient records and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Managing payments and health fund claims.
