Job summary

Rotork is the market-leading global flow control and instrumentation company. The role reports to the Workshop Supervisor and involves being part of a team servicing customers in Water, Power, Petrochemical and related industries.

You will identify faults, repair, test and modify actuators in production and workshop, and carry out retrofit adaptations while preparing technical reports. Based mainly in our workshop, some travel to support Field Service may be required.

Qualifications

  • Trade certificate or technical diploma – Mechanical and/or Electrical.
  • Restricted Electrical license or be prepared to undergo a course to obtain this qualification.
  • Hold and maintain a motor vehicle driving license.
  • Demonstrate an above average electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Must be physically fit and comply with Rotork’s and customer’s drug and alcohol policies.
  • Should be computer literate, being competent with the use of commonly available Microsoft programs.
  • Be prepared to undertake Rotork Training Courses, as required, in Australia or overseas locations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify faults, repair, test and modify actuators in production and workshop, carry out retrofit adaption of components, pedestals and drive shafts and completing accurate and technical reports for each job.
  • This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who can think logically for troubleshooting issues.
  • Based primarily in our workshop but maybe required to support Field Service staff in the field from time to time.
