Qualifications

- Current registration with Australian teaching authority (QCT/equivalent).

St Patrick's College located in Gympie, is a community focused school committed to developing strong, confident life-long learners. Due to internal Leave the college are seeking a passionate and experienced Acting Deputy Principal to join the school community in 2027 and make a significant impact.

- Salary: $153,277 - $164,999 per annum + 12.75% Super

St Patrick's is a Parish Co-educational Secondary College with an enrolment of over 560 students in Gympie. Gympie is located approximately 40 minutes from the Sunshine Coast. In this position, your accountabilities will include but not limited to:
- Review and evaluate internal and external information to inform decision making processes that align with strategic and annual plans.
- Develop relationships that are strategically important and that also promote and market the school in the community.
- Manage allocated resources to support strategic and operational objectives.
- Lead and manage assigned staff, finances, and resources in alignment with legislative requirements, Archdiocesan and BCE policy and procedures.

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience
- Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
- For this position you are required to be Catholic (or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools).
