Job summary

Darwin Nutrition & Dietetics Clinic in Darwin is seeking a part-time dietitian to deliver private practice consultations, hospital inpatient services, and NDIS/community visits across the Darwin region. A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are required, with travel reimbursement.

You will develop individualized nutrition care plans, educate groups, and support health promotion while maintaining high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• APD status or eligible to obtain prior to commencement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while recognising when to seek support.
• Current NT Driver Licence.
• Current Ochre Card and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to meet healthcare provider vaccination and screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based nutrition assessment, intervention and review.
• Develop individualised nutrition care plans.
• Build strong relationships with clients, GPs and multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare high-quality clinical reports and documentation.
• Support health promotion and community education activities.
• Participate in quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
• Help grow a thriving private practice through exceptional client care.

Since 2018, Darwin Nutrition & Dietetics Clinic has been providing evidence-based nutrition care across the NT. With clinics in Palmerston and Tiwi, we also provide services in hospitals, residential aged care facilities and clients’ homes throughout the Darwin region.
