Job summary

SA Health's Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join the Modbury Hospital Allied Health team. You will deliver evidence-based exercise physiology interventions to older adults and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and discharge planning.

This temporary full-time role runs through to 30 June 2027, with pro rata salary bands for AHP1 and AHP2.

Qualifications

• Degree in exercise physiology or equivalent eligible for ESSA accreditation.
• Experience delivering exercise interventions for older adults in rehab or hospital settings.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and manage a varied caseload.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and deliver evidence-based exercise physiology interventions for inpatients and outpatients.
• Collaborate with physiotherapy, occupational therapy and medical staff to support rehabilitation and discharge planning.
• Contribute to service improvement and clinical quality activities aligned with strategic priorities.
• Provide supervision and support to students and junior team members.
