Job summary

Total Workfit Solutions (TWS) in Hobart, Tasmania, is seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary allied health team. The role focuses on occupational health, injury prevention and rehabilitation, with clinic-based work in Hobart and on-site services across Tasmania.

You will deliver prevention and rehabilitation programs, conduct workplace assessments, and perform capacity evaluations in diverse settings, while enjoying flexible hours and strong team support within

• Full ESSA accreditation is required.
• Experience in occupational health, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
• Strong communication, customer service and time management skills.
• Self-starter with attention to detail and proactive approach.
• Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering injury prevention, health and wellness, and injury management programs to private clients and organisations.
• Delivering clinical AEP services in clinics, on-site, and home environments.
• Performing Workplace, Task and Role Risk, and Job Demands Assessments with modification recommendations.

This opportunity is perfect if you are looking for a clinical position with a proactive injury prevention focus. We want you to use your skills and knowledge in both prevention and rehabilitation programs on the front line. The role is based in our Hobart clinic but also requires the delivery of on-site services to customers across Tasmania.

The role also offers plenty of variety, autonomy, and flexible working hours. Day to day, you will undertake activities such as:

• Developing and delivering injury prevention, health and wellness, and injury management programs to both private clients and organisations.
• Delivering clinical AEP services in a variety of settings, including the clinic, on-site, and at-home environments.
• Performing Workplace Assessments, Task and Role Risk Assessments, and Job Demands Assessments, including associated job/role modification recommendations and advice.
• Performing Pre-employment and other Capacity Assessments.

Qualifications

• Full ESSA accreditation
• An understanding of workers' compensation, rehabilitation, and occupational health and safety legislation
• Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills
• A self-starter with a go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well done with attention to detail
• Ability to complete a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
• Current Australian driver's licence and access to a vehicle
• Willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives
• The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey, including embracing new and emerging technology
